2023Chair & Officers

Our new Chairman for 2023 is Stephen Battersby. Stephen is a retired solicitor who practiced in Yorkshire - Rippon, Shipley, Holme Firth. His passions are fly fishing, Burnley Football Club and Yorkshire County Cricket, a former 2nd row forward for Halifax Rugby Club rubbing shoulders with rugby celebrity, Billy Beaumont. He also enjoys a good limerick.

His supporting team for the year is David Kirk our retiring treasurer as (Vice-Chairman), John Polley (Secretary), John Reynolds (Treasurer), John Pearce (Committee Member 1) David Head Committee Member 2). Terry Jackson (Speaker Finders) with Rick Purnell as (Press Officer), Registrars Mike Castell & David Richards and Alistair Tennett as Hon. auditor.

Terry Jackson has arranged a full programme of speakers for our twice a month meetings at Richard Newton Hall Community Centre unless otherwise stated in the programme pages.
